For this piece i wanted to juxtapose the two very opposite ideas of evolution and religion. I wanted to make this piece in black and want, using a lot of gradients, to both emphasize the evolution of black to white, and as to not take away from the importance of the symbols. To make sure the focus was the symbol i tried to keep the rest of the imagery simple as well. The words at the top of each poster, are the words for god, in each of the respective religions base languages. I then used the symbols that the religions are now currently most easily identified with. This is to illustrate that essentially all of the religions started in the same place and the only real difference were a few details, but now they are so widely split, which is illustrated in the different symbols. Also the arrangement of the posters is important, the judaism and muslim posters, seperated by the christianity poster is symbolic of todays middle east conflict.
